Description

Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports 'STARS' was founded in 2006 and became a 501(c) 3 non profit organization in 2007. STARS provides children and adults with cognitive or physical disabilities the opportunity to experience recreational sports with the help of caring, experienced volunteers and instructors. Last year STARS served over 400 individual clients with more than 10,686 lesson hours in skiing, snowboarding, biking, waterskiing, camping, kayaking, horseback riding, and much more.

This is a wonderful organization that helps individuals with disabilities participate in sports! Great staff, great volunteers, amazing opportunity!
