A Comprehensive Family Resource Center

PARENT TO PARENT programs for providing one-toone emotional and informational support for parents of children with the full range of disabilities. Carefully selected and trained, volunteer parents with experience are matched with parents who have children recently diagnosed or identified. The emotional support and shared wisdom of parenting experience are often among the services most valued by parents. Developing leadership skills is the hallmark of a successful parent program. Raising Special Kids has an active network of over 250 parent leaders and volunteers, and was one of the founding members of the national network of parent centers, Parent to Parent USA. http://www.p2pusa.org
