Creation of audio library of textbooks for persons with persons with visual, physical, or learning disabilites that preclude easy use of print books.

RFB&D is a national not-for-profit organization with studios in various locations across the U.S. Our digitally recorded textbooks are available to anyone who cannot pick up a book, turn pages, and read because of a visual, physical, or perceptual (learning) disability. Our website at www.rfbd.org contains a location list; this notice is posted by the Florida Unit, with locations in Miami and Boca Raton. We have an ongoing need for book-oriented persons: you do not need to have technical expertise, but we are also always on the lookout for persons with backgrounds in math, science, computers, medicine, law, and more. Service is not limited by geographic location of recipients.
