The objective of our Mentoring Program is to provide Olive Crest residents with the opportunity for a non-clinical one-on-one relationship which will enhance the development of new interests, provide positive adult role modeling and assist in the process of learning to give and receive through a healthy personal relationship. Displaced and emotionally disturbed boys and girls need mentors to give extra caring, love and direction. Many of the children placed with Olive Crest have never had the opportunity for a positive healthy relationship. Olive Crest Mentors provide this opportunity by spending time with a child and participating with him or her on special outings.
