We run an after school 1 on 1 tutoring program for second to fourth grade students from Painesvile City Local Public School District. Sessions are usually 10 weeks long, one day per week for one hour

Students are selected by teachers. Criteria for selection include poor reading skills and the desire to improve those skills. Parents must give permission for child to attend. Each child is dropped off at the library by a school bus after school and then picked up at the library and taken home. Children are encouraged to use the public library for fun and educational needs.
