Mission Statement

The Campton Township Open Space Program preserves and protects the semi-rural character of the region by acquiring open land for passive and active recreation, farmland, historic landmarks, scenic roadways, wetlands, woodlands, wildlife, and geologically significant features.

The Open Space Program provides for the holding of real property for public recreation, education, and pleasure, and for other open space values. It also promotes conservation of the natural environment and floodplain protection. The use and management of the open spaces will benefit the community and future generations.
