Children's Village

Description

Children's Village is a state licensed foster home and Crisis Nursery for children in need. We welcome children ages birth - 18 for crisis care, short term care and long term care. About half of our residents have been removed from their homes and placed in our care by the state. The other half are privately placed kids who've been brought to us voluntarily by their families due to circumstance that have rendered the family unable to properly care for their child(ren). This is primarily homelessness. We welcome these children regardless of their families ability to pay.

We provide our residents with a loving, nurturing, family atmosphere that includes home cooked meals, structure and a focus on personal development for each child. Our residents recieve any necessary items while in our care including but not limited to clothing, medical, dental or vision care and hygiene items.

We attempt to always keep siblings together and we transport our school age kids to and from their school of origin whenever possible to eliminate as much disruption in thier lives as possible.
