Mission Statement

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of senior citizens living in the North Lincoln County area, to help seniors maintain their independence and to fulfill their desire to remain living at home. We fulfill this mission by providing the following:

North End Adult Day Services

Outreach and Referral Program

Handy Buddies Project

The Northender’s Gift Shop and On-line store

Education and Training Classes for care giving, nutrition, and other topics of wellbeing. Staff continued Education

Future:

o Residential Care Center

o Financial Services, bill pay.

o Legal Services

Description

The NESS Club (Adult Day Service) serves seniors and their families by providing a safe, comfortable, and fun place for seniors and people with disabilities to socialize, play games, create art works, and most importantly, learn from each other.

Caregivers for dependent adults get respite (time-off) from their demanding responsibilities.

We are willing to be open 8-5 p.m., if requested, although most participants arrive around 10 a.m. We are open Mondays and Wednesdays and Friday. Please call to arrange the times best for you.

First Day Free: The caregiver and participant are invited to visit us at no charge. First Day Free includes a free lunch; come join us!
