Mission Statement

Goals

1) Find rescue or adopters for the animals that come into animal control to reduce the need for euthanasia.

2) To provide vetting for animals that come into animal control therefore reducing some of the financial burdens on

animal rescue sheiters.
3) To educate the public on the benefits of having your animal spayed or neutered and to help them find low cost
options.

4) Provide dog/cat food to members of our community who are struggling to feed their pets.

Description

Pound Pets, lnc.is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals that come into our'
local animal control facility. By working with committed volunteers, rescues, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers,
and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year and find them forever homes or safe places
to go until their forever home can be found. Whenever possible we also assist dogs who, because of extenuating
circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners. Our Community Outreach Program helps to provide
dog and cat food to members of the community who are struggling to feed their pets. We also provide information
regarding low cost spay and neuter programs available in our area.
