Amateur Radio volunteers are needed for emergency communications when all normal lines are down!

As we saw on 9/11, and whenever a disaster occurred -- natural or man-made -- normal lines of communication fail. When this happens, Amateur Radio operators step forward and fill the need, passing messages and communications back and forth quickly and efficiently.
