Deliver hot meals to homebound seniors who can't do for themselves

Our Meals-on-Wheels program serves 600 hot, lunch meals (Mon.-Fri.) to homebound seniors in the community. Volunteer drivers deliver the meals and do a well being check on the clients. Routes consist of 15-18 people and take about 1.5 hours to deliver. We work with all schedules. Most volunteers deliver regularly once per week on the same route but some work as little as once per month. Volunteers are provided with a route sheet with detailed directions on how to get to each home.
