The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program's Mission is to fully share the talents, skills, abilities, knowledge, and experience of seniors, 55+, with Virginia Eastern Shore communities in Accomack and Northampton counties, in order to enhance quality of life, add value to agencies served, and meet identified community needs.

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of the Eastern shore of Virginia, sponsored by the Eastern Shore Area Agency on Aging/Community Action Agency, places volunteers 55+ at community non-profit, governmental and health proprietary organization sites. These placements enable persons to participate more fully in the life of the Virginia Eastern Shore and to help organizations affecting nearly all aspects of Shore Life.
