Mission Statement
CWS works with partners to eradicate hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice around the world.
Description
CWS is a global organization that is dedicated to helping refugees around the world especially those entering the United States. Each year CWS helps families resettle to the United States, many of which are fleeing war-torn countries and political persecution. South Florida is a major destination for refugees and asylees fleeing from Haiti, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, The Ukraine and other places across the globe such as Iraq, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Iran. With your support we can help them start new lives here in the United States.
CWS’s South Florida offices have been providing essential refugee resettlement and immigration service since 1960. We provide year-round food and shelter, legal and immigration services, job placement, cultural orientation, tangible donations, and monetary support, out of our 3 locations located in Miami, Broward, and Palm Beach County.
Our organization welcomes all forms of groups, organizations, businesses, and religious assemblies to help us reach our vision of " working to be an effective, impact-oriented leader in refugee and immigrant protection, assistance, and integration" .
