Volunteer opportunities through the Office for the Aging cover a wide array of choices

Volunteers are needed to assist with Senior Center Activities, for Telephone Reassurance, to provide medical transport, to advocate for residents of long-term care facilities through the Ombudsman Program, to be an instructor of Defensive Driving, Exercise and Craft Classes, to participate in TRIAD (Seniors & Law Enforcement working to prevent victimization of the elderly), to offer Health Insurance Counseling, to provide tax assistance, to provide in-home respite care and to read to children in the local schools.
