Job Corps is the nation's largest residential educational and vocational program. The purpose of the Job Corps program is to help economically disadvantaged youth, ages 16 - 24, become self-reliant.

Job Corps is the nation's largest residential educational and vocational program. The purpose of the Job Corps program is to help economically disadvantaged youth, ages 16 through 24, break down barriers to employment by teaching the skills they need to become independent and to secure meaningful careers and opportunities for further education.

McNeil Job Corps Support Services is contracted by the federal government to provide assistance to youth exiting the Job Corps Program. These young adults need caring mentors to help them reach their full potential.

A Job Corps Mentor is a positive role model, a friend, a coach, an advisor, a self-esteem builder, a career counselor, and an advocate for a Job Corps graduate or former enrollee.
