Description

State Senator Carole Migden is interested in recruiting Seniors to volunteer in her San Francisco District Office. Volunteers will assist in responding to constituent concerns and other office tasks.

California State Senator Carole Migden represents the 3rd Senate District, most of San Francisco and the entirety of Marin and a small portion of Sonoma County. Seniors are needed in her San Francisco District Office. Volunteers should have an interest in public service work, demonstrate initiative, and an ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Tasks draw on communication, organizational and problem-solving skills with an interest in the political process at the local and state level. Under guidance, volunteers wil respond to constituent and community concerns, attend events, and track issues affecting constituents. Volunteers will assist in typing letters,inputting data, filing, answering phones, and other clerical tasks.
