One of MDA's most successful fundraising programs is the community Lock-Up. Community and business leaders will be invited to spend an hour "behind bars" at Johnny Carino's to raise "bail" for MDA. While there, our "jailbirds" are given the opportunity to network with other community and
business leaders, sample our "jailhouse grub", and learn more about MDA's
services.

Typical duties of a lock-up assistant might include:
* Greeting event participants
* Taking souvenir "mug shot" photos
* Calling "jailbirds" to verify their participation
* Completing donation slips
* Preparing envelopes for mailing
* Coordinating transportation for participants who are being
"arrested"
