Mission Statement

The mission of the Putnam County Communities That Care (CTC) coalition is to build a safe and healthy family-oriented community, which includes reducing the use of harmful substances by out adolescents. The coalitions includes individuals from all sectors of the community who work together to reduce risk factors and strengthen protective factors through education, enforcement and policy initiatives.

The mission of the Putnam County Vetcorps Program is to assess needs of veterans and military families, form a sustainable coalition of individuals and groups interested inhelping veterans and military families, and develop an action plan to address identified needs.

Description

The Putnam County VetCorps Program was established in April 2014 in partnership with the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA), in order to:

  • assess needs of veterans and military families
  • form a sustainable coalition of individuals and groups interested in helping veterans and military families, and
  • develop an action plan to address identified needs
