Mission Statement

To assist the community in the development of sound and attractive businesses to promote a crime-free district which prospers economically and socially.

To promote the collective, individual and civic interests and rights of all persons, firms and corporations owning property, living on property or employed in or adjacent to the boundaries of SE Yamhill to SE Stark Street from SE 12 th to SE 60 th Avenue in the City of Portland, County of Multnomah, State of Oregon, and

To promote improvements and maintenance of property located therein and encourage business opportunities thereon.

In general, but in connection with the foregoing, to do any and all things necessary to promote the general welfare of the businesses, the property and the residents in the Belmont area of Portland.

To acknowledge that a healthy business district needs a healthy neighborhood which needs a healthy business district.
