Not only are the admins a pleasure to work with, but, through helping them, you are also helping families cope with sometimes devastating and confusing diagnoses. The work that is required is fairly simple, and they make sure they don't ask for too much from you. All of the work I do for them is online at my convenience. It's wonderful being able to help others without adding extra stress to my life.

As a parent of a child with a rare chromosome disorder, it has been heartwarming to be able to help others in the same or similar situation... and all from the comfort of my own home! I have volunteered for CDO since 2010, helping with graphic work, social media, event planning and editing. I have met "virtual" friends and found others who share the same passion as me... bringing awareness to the world about rare chromosome disorders.
