Description

Volunteer tutors are needed to teach basic English skills to adults. No experience necessary. Free tutor-training workshops and materials.

Our program is unique in that all services for the student, along with the books are free. Many of our students are from other countries and English is not their first language. They desperately need to speak and understand English in order to increase their work opportunities.

We offer one-day training workshops for volunteers. The volunteer is then placed with a student and they meet once or twice a week, usually at the closest library for both student and tutor. Volunteers are especailly needed in Titusville and Palm Bay.
