Mission Statement

The Community Foundation, established in 1995, is a public charity, with the purpose of promoting charitable giving, making it easy for people to support causes that are important to them, and ensuring that those resources are well managed so that Dunn County continues to receive its benefits for generations to come. The Community Foundation is DunnCounty’s savings account, supported by people and businesses that care about the place we call home.

Description

For almost 20 years, the Community Foundation has worked to improve the quality of life in Dunn County by addressing community issues, promoting responsible philanthropy, and connecting donors to critical needs. The Foundation enables people with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support the causes they care about--immediately or through their estate plans. Over $2 million in grants and scholarships have been awarded since 1995.

Because of our donors, the Foundation has been able to help build community parks and playgrounds, restore historic buildings, work towards mending our environment, advance literacy causes, improve health care and dental services for underserved citizens, and create workforce training programs for youth. These are just a few examples of the hundreds of projects that the Foundation has supported.
