Advocates for abused and neglected children that are placed in foster care system in Orange County Florida.

The Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association is a non-profit, private, legal services provider for the poor and indigent. The Legal Aid Society is offering volunteer opportunities for non-lawyers in its Guardian ad Litem program. These volunteers will supplement pool of volunteer attorneys so that more children can be served, and also to explore new ways to better serve abused and neglected children in Orange County. The Legal Aid Society will provide training to those qualified and once trained the volunteers will assist attorneys or work with Legal Aid staff on special projects aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of services provided to abused and neglected children.
