EVENT PLANNER VOLUNTEER is needed to help coordinate our Ocelot Conservation Festival! This annual event includes educational nature programs, live wildlife exhibits, and other activities.

EVENT PLANNER VOLUNTEER is needed September 2006 - February 2007 to help coordinate our annual Ocelot Conservation Festival! Dates are somewhat flexible. The Festival, held each February, is sponsored by the Friends of Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge, Valley Morning Star, and Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. The event includes live wildlife exhibits, educational programs, and other activities. Proceeds from the event go to the nonprofit Friends of Laguna Atascosa NWR for endangered ocelot conservation efforts. In 2006 this event was attended by approximately 3,000-4,000 people.
