Volunteers needed to work with adult immigrants and refugees learning the English language through life skills and civics.

Lincoln Adult Education Center (LAEC) is an Adult Basic Education (ABE) program located in downtown Minneapolis that teaches mostly English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to adult immigrants and refugees. We also teach basic math and citizenship class, and are involved with workforce ESL classes. Our enrollments average about 300 learners each weekday, and currently our learners come from 65 countries and speak 33 languages.
