To provide affordable instruction in literacy, communication skills, and cultural orientation, enabling greater student self-reliance.
Right to Read, founded in 1976, is an adult education center serving Weld County. We provide intensice English language instruction in a classroom setting and Adult Basic Education to any adults wishing to improve his/her skills. English language lessons include practical experience with reading, speaking, and writing English as well as essential life skills. Life skills aid immigrant and refugee students with social and cultural integration into our community. Adult Basic Education helps students prepare for GED tests. Through education our students gain the proficiency they need to attain personal goals and achieve self-reliance.
Right to Read provides instruction to more than 400 adults, annually. We work closely with other non-profit organizations to ensure financial and social success for each individual student and their family.
