Description

Interfaith Hospitality Network is one of only three homeless shelters in Cincinnati that will house two parent families and families with teenage boys.

Interfaith Hospitality Network utilizes the buildings and volunteers of religious congregations to host and house homeless families during the night. During the day, IHN provides childcare, life skills training, and assistance in finding permanent housing and employment. We have a very limited full time staff. Volunteers enable us to keep running at half the cost of traditional shelters. Last year (2005), IHN of Greater Cincinnati had 72 families which included 200 children who were provided shelter and assistance in finding permanent housing.
