One World Day has been an annual premiere event of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation since 1946. It is presented by Councilman Kevin Conwell, County Councilwoman Yvonne Conwell, and Mayor Justin Bibb. One World Day showcases diverse ethnic groups through music, dance, storytelling and much, much more. The 2024 One World Day will occur Sunday, August 25th, 2024. We are currently seeking a group of dedicated committee members for the Naturalization/Parade Committee. Naturalization/Parade Committee Members will: Help guide new citizens to and from the Naturalization Ceremony that occurs at the start of One World Day Help coordinators with tasks as needed during the ceremony Guide parade participants along the Parade route Ensure participants’ continued movement along the route Volunteer Benefits: Satisfaction of contributing to the Greater Cleveland Community Complimentary volunteer t-shirt (if needed, while supplies last) $5.00 voucher to most food vendors (for every 4 hours of volunteering) Snacks Water generously donated by Distillata Name listed in the program booklet under Committee (if signed up prior to July 20th) Invitation to attend pre-event planning meetings Invitation to Volunteer Appreciation Reception For any questions email volunteer@clevelandoneworldday.org Thank you for your interest!

Logistics Committee Members will: Ensure all OWD parking lots are staffed appropriately with attendees Access and drive golf carts to check on parking lots Transport general public on golf carts as availability allows Check on volunteers throughout the day Report to Logistics Chair for any issues. Mission Statement
The Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation is the representative organization of the Cultural Gardens set to provide a direct link between the Cultural Gardens and the individual ethnic communities they represent. The Federation has been instrumental in preservation and development of the Gardens, as well as maintaining public awareness and interest in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The mission of the Cleveland One World Festival is to honor and celebrate the rich cultural diversity of Northeast Ohio among the cultural gardens at Rockefeller Park.
