Description

The Melanoma Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides melanoma workshops to high school health educators and materials for them to teach the subject to their students.

Over 1000 schools in 46 states are currently utilizing the MEF SkinCheck lesson to educate students about early self-detection and prvention of melanoma.

The teacher-training video and student videos produced by MEF have received Gold Triangle awards from the American Academy of Dermatology in 2009 and 2010.

Very professional, friendly, and respectful. They really care about this cause and work very hard; that in itself is very admirable. I only volunteered with them for a short time due to certain circumstances, but if given the opportunity, I would love to volunteer with them again.

We received a quick response to our email about volunteering and clear direction about what was needed for the task. We also received a nice letter verifying the community service hours. Great organization to work with!
