Vigil Volunteer - provide support to family members who need a break from the bedside of their loved ones during the dying process.

Bereavement Volunteer - being a companion, a facilitator, and a mirror of the healing process.

Administrative Volunteer - offer services in the hospice office provide valuable services for Heartland Hospice.

Special Project Volunteers - offer talents by providing patients with arts and crafts as well as other special activities, which are vital in providing indirect support to the patients and caregivers.

Friendly Visitor/Friendly Companion - spend time listening, writing, reading and speaking to the patients.
