Mission Statement

MICROHEALTH INITIATIVE AN NGO ESTABLISHED TWO YEARS IS BENT ON IMPROVING HEALTH ACCESS ACROSS LOW INCOME GROUPS, QUALITY OF CARE INTENEDED TO LOWER THE COSTS OF TREATMENT. WORKING WITH DOCTORS, COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS, OTHER HEALTH WE TARGET TO IMPROVE THE ENROLMENT RATES INTO HEALTH SCHEMES FROM THE CURRENT 20% TO 40% AT BY 2016 AT THE SAME TIME LOWERING THE COST OF CARE.

Description

Micro Health Initiative (MHI) was formally registered in 2012 with the objective to ensure that low and middle income populations in Northern Tanzania have equal access to quality healthcare services. Through its programs, MHI can leverage years of experience to improve provider quality, program enrollment, and technological capability.

MHI works with governmental groups, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), donor agencies, and other related entities throughout the Kilimanjaro Region in order to comprehensively administer health insurance programs.
