Mission Statement

The goal of Hospice is to provide client-centered quality end-of-life care to those coping with a life limiting illness. Hazel Burns Hospice strives to ensure that clients are treated with dignity and respect during their journey with the assistance of our volunteers. We are able to provide physical, emotional, social, spiritual and practical support to our clients and their families in their homes.

Description

Hospice volunteers provide emotional, social, spiritual and practical (non-medical) support for people living with a life-threatening illness, their caregivers and families. A Client Care Coordinator provides assessment and case management. We also offer the services of a Bereavement Coordinator and Complementary Therapies.
