Mission Statement

The Roseville REC is committed to support a neighborhood learning and recreation center. The Roseville REC will organize and promote activities to develop the character and enhance abilities and talents of those it serves. We do this through:

    1. Social Responsibility:
The Roseville REC supports the individual and unique character and personality of everyone it serves and fosters their personal accountability, leadership skills and social responsibility in a larger context.
    1. Education and Career Development:

Academic proficiency and education support are fundamental values and essential not only to career skills and opportunities but integrally linked to self confidence which enables better decision making in everyday situations.

    1. Recreation, Creativity and the Arts:

The Roseville REC firmly supports the development of creative and culturally aware programs and activities. Knowledge and appreciation of these programs will serve to inspire the community and provide other avenues for the participants to experience success and recognition.

    1. Community

Parents, children, teachers, public servants, the business community, and the neighborhood all are stakeholders and are instrumental to the success, outreach and achievements of the center. The center will continue to be an advocate for the population it is a part of and bring larger recognition to the needs of the area.

    1. To Act with Integrity

The Roseville R.E.C. expects accountability from those we interact with and from ourselves. We adhere to high ethical and professional standards in our work and relationships. We are fair and respectful in our interactions and conscientiously steward the resources entrusted to us. We set expectations reasonably and strive to outperform those expectations.
