Mission Statement

The Little Black Dress Society is a (501c3) non-profit organization that exist to educate, empower and embrace victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse.

Description

We wear our LBDs (Little Black Dresses) to make a statement that we are united for this cause and we are joining forces with like-minded women and men in our efforts to help change the pattern of abuse... because Abuse is NEVER in Fashion!

Our Goals

LBD-Restoration UnMasked: Community outreach program which selects a candidate semi-annually to receive assistance. Through an application selection process, one survivor of domestic violence will be selected semi-annually to receive assistance. Applications for the Restoration UnMasked program are due by February and August each yea. Various needs may include:
Clothing
Furniture/Household Needs
Dental Care
Eyewear
Transportation
Phone
Groceries
Computers
Gas Cards
Housing
Additional requests are also considered
Also throughout the year women may apply for short-term emergency help like grocery, clothing, and gas gift cards donated by our supporters.
Our mission is to support survivors and embrace them through their personal journey of restoration. We believe that will empower them to move forward and find the strength to Love, Believe, and Dream again.
Our goal to help restore hope to the women who apply for Restoration unmasked by working with the community and our partners to best assess their needs. Ensuring they are worthy of love and respect and helping them to build their self-esteem, we believe Restoration UnMasked will be a crucial movement in the lives we touch. If you or your company would like to make a difference in these women and their children please consider becoming a volunteer, partner or making a financial or in-kind donation.
