Mission Statement
The mission of the Vision Academy is to provide safe, supervised and highly engaging out-of-school time education, enrichment and recreation programs for elementary school children ages 5 to13 in the City of San Francisco. Vision Academy is a fiscally sponsored 501(c)3.
Description
The Vision Academy After School combines after-school childcare and enrichment programs for children from kindergarten through sixth grade. Children attend one to five days per week. Programs are organized by grade level. Supper and Snacks are provided. Tuition is FREE.
Programming: Since our inception, The Vision Academy has been divided into three core components: help with homework, Chess (a learning activity that boosts core academic skills such as math and reasoning), a changing menu of fun activities ranging from technology to sports to arts, as well as a nutritious snack. These components provide structure for a program that is otherwise highly customized based on students’ needs and the site staff’s interests and experience.
