Description
The St. Petersburg Woman's Club was established in 1913 by Mrs Charles A. Easterly, with 14 charter members. At that time, the club joined Florida Federation of Women's Clubs.
In November, 1928 Mr C. Perry Snell made a charitable gift offer of land on Snell Isle. By May of 1929 the clubhouse was dedicated.
Today, the club is still enjoyed by the women of St. Petersburg. Beside the community service involvement, the volunteer hours and donated products generously given by the members, there are many opportunities to be involved in social activities and to meet new frinds.
