Description
We are a senior center, located in rural York County, PA, that serves the senior citizens in our community. Our age criteria is 60 years, and older. We provide programs and activities that the members can enjoy, as well as be learn with. We provide meals-on-wheels to area shut ins, as well as a free, hot congregate meal each day within our center walls. Fellowship is a crucial part of everything that we do because we feel that it is necessary to help hold off feelings of isolation, which is a leading cause of senior citizens entering retirement homes or assisted living centers. Independence is important to senior citizens and we work together to help our members be as independent as possible. Volunteers and donations are always needed to help us be progressive, as well as stay in existence. Our members, working together, are a family that helps each other and their center.
