The mission of Faith in Action is to provide supportive services to our older adult neighbors ages 60+ through trained, caring volunteers and a network of organizations.
Our volunteers provide services including:
Local transportation, friendly visiting, yard work, outdoor chores, indoor chores, home repair and light construction, etc.
We partner with other agencies and combine resources to provide our community members with the most help possible.
Our volunteers enjoy helping others but also strive to create relationships with those they assist. Our volunteers receive no compensation or fuel assistance for providing services.
Our agency takes time to ensure create a positive matches between our volunteers and recipients, paying close attention to personalities and special interests.
In addition, we organize groups of one-time volunteers including youth groups and visiting mission groups to work on large group work projects.
