Description

Volunteers are the building blocks of Habi-Lee. By "lending a hand" in our office or ReStore, or on the worksites, you can help to make a world of difference in the lives of our Partner Families.

Lee County Alabama Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eradicating poverty housing in our community. Funded by generous donations, and aided by dozens of volunteers and our partner families, we build homes that serve as simple, decent places to live. We make these homes affordable to families in need of decent shelter through affordable, no-interest loans. Our homeowners' monthly mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more homes for more low-income families in Lee County. Thus, by helping one family attain their dream of homeownership, volunteers and donors actually help to provide simple, decent shelter for other families throughout Lee County as well.
