SPICE is dedicated to promoting positive and supportive relationships between older adults and young people.

SPICE site coordinator works with local schools and other child-serving agencies to develop and implement a variety of educational and social activities that bring together older adults and students. Examples of intergenerational activities include Reading Buddies, crafts classes, structured conversations about history and culture, and public service projects. Coordinator encourages SPICE volunteers and other community members to suggest new intergenerational activities, and will help volunteers with special talents to use them for the benefit of young people. The SPICE intergenerational center also offer some programs and excursions specifically for older adults.
