Help Me Grow Alameda County is a system that collaborates with agencies, families and providers across the county to help ensure children ages birth - 5 years reach their optimal development. To achieve this, we: - Provide FREE and confidential support in early childhood development - Promote early identification of developmental concerns - Help families access resources - Build the capacity of early childhood providers - Partner with families, agencies and providers to build a strong network of services
What is Help Me Grow?
Help Me Grow Alameda County is a county-wide system to support early childhood development, learning and social-emotional health. Our priority is to ensure that all children ages birth to five get the best start in life.
Help Me Grow offers various programs and supports to assist families in learning more about their child’s growth and development, including: a confidential and free phone line and a developmental screening program that helps parents track their child’s development utilizing a developmental screening tool called the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. Help Me Grow is currently looking for volunteers to support the administrative and programmatic needs of Help Me Grow, particularly the Developmental Screening Program.
