Financing Ozarks Regional Growth & Economics, F.O.R.G.E., has been helping low-income farmers & small businessmen get loans to start & expand their businesses since its founding in 1988. As an SBA micro-lender,F.O.R.G.E., also povides technical assistance to borrowers. The mission of F.O.R.G.E is sustainable agriculture & sustainable communities in the Ozarks region of Arkansas, Missouri & Oklahoma. Based in Huntsville, AR, midway between Harrison & Fayetteville, F.O.R.G.E has recently started administering the USDA's HOME program for Madison & Carroll Counties (in Akansas) in cooperation with the ADFA.
The needs of homeowners who apply for the HOME program include: replacement of failing septic systems, safe electric& wells & roof repair
