Description

The Whaley Historic House Museum stands as a representation and recreation of Gilded-Age life in Flint, Michigan. The home is set up as it would have been while the Whaley family lived there in the 1880s and 1890s. In addition to regular tours, the house holds many special programs and events to help instill an interest in historical inquiry and community awareness. The museum hopes to be seen as a laboratory of learning in the Flint community and beyond.
