Mission Statement

OUR MISSION:

The Mission of the Long Beach Unity Festival is to promote unity, reconciliation, and non-violence to diverse communities through music, the Arts, and healthy lifestyle initiatives.

Description

An all-day community wide music and arts festival geared towards youth and their families. Although we serve a variety of communities in the LB area, our base is the Westside of Long Beach. The Festival takes place at Admiral Kidd Park, 2125 Santa Fe Ave. This year's date is SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 13TH. This is the culminating event from a year of activities, training, workshops, and seminars. From 8am to 4pm, the Festival usually hosts 3500 persons from various cultures, and artistic genres. Lots of community agencies, health care organizations, and local performers, as well as city officials are involved.
