Description

Volunteer will be encouraged to assist afterschool staff in implementing curriculum for children participating in the program.Volunteers are invited to bring their special talents, skills, and expertise

We are especially proud of our culturally diverse after-school programs, which run from September to June, and provide a safe educational environment for more than 1500 inner city children ages 6 through 13 free of charge during the critical hours between 3 pm and 6 pm. Along with homework assistance these programs provide instructional athletics, dance, drama, visual arts, literacy, cultural education, special events and field trips. These programs are located in some of New Yorks low income communities.
