Description

The nation's leading non-profit substance abuse treatment organization.

The following programs are offered Phoenix House:
Special Focus Programs: sober living residences for recovering alcoholics; services for mothers with children, homeless families and mentally ill drug users; and prison treatment units.
Mother and Child Programs: treatment to mothers - many completing prison terms - while their infants and toddlers receive expert supervision and developmental assessment. Women residents also get instruction ranging from pre-natal care and baby care to household management and job skills.
Sober Living Programs: support, low-cost housing, and a structured schedule during the critical transition period from residential treatment to independent living.
Mental Health Programs: assist the population of substance abusers who are also diagnosed with mental illness, through residential and day treatment services. Programs are operated in mental health clinics as well as in secure and supportive residential settings.
Programs for the Homeless: serve adult substance abusers - many with families - who enter treatment unemployed and with no permanent residence. Along with treatment, the program provides employment skills training and housing assistance.
Programs with Criminal Justice Services: brought into mandatory treatment through the courts and corrections system.
Other Treatment Programs: Admissions, Adolescent Treatment, Adult Treatment, Special Focus Programs
