Description

Volunteer Mentors Needed for Adolescents, Teens and Homeless Families!

Cambridge Family and Children's Service (CFCS) is currently recruiting volunteers for its Mentor Program, servicing children and families in Cambridge, MA. Volunteer mentors are needed to spend time with children and families from the Kennedy School, families living in local shelters, or pregnant and parenting teens at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School.

Volunteers commit to build a relationship with the children and families over the course of a year, and spend on average 3-4 hours a week with the child.

CFCS is accepting applications now for volunteer mentors! If you are young at heart and have a sincere desire to help kids and families, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Call Sean Pelkey, Mentor Coordinator, at 617-876-4210 x14 for more information or fill out an application online at www.helpfamilies.org.
