Mission Statement

The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) has been in existence since 1974 and operates under the auspices of the Brazos Valley Council of Governments.

Funding is provided through the authorityof the Older Americans Act of 1965, State and local funds and participant contributions.

Description

Our information, referral and asistance sercie links an older person to appropriate services and supports such as Benefits Counseling, Nutrition Services, Care Coordination, Evedence Based Programs, Elder Rights Program, Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, and the Aging and Disability Resource Center. Serving the counties of: Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson and Washington.
