Mission Statement

Founded in 2001, the mission of A Better World Afterschool is to transform the community and its families through (K-12); by holistically developing children who are able to achieve their personal best academically, so they may become productive citizens who give back to their community through the use of their skill and talents.

Description

The purpose of A Better World Afterschool is to provide disadvantaged youth with tutoring, homework assistance, mentoring, and hot meal five days a week. Children and their families are also provided with access to counseling, toiletries, and home-good products. Education is our first priority!

After school most people tend to watch TV and relax. Some are responsible with their time and do their homework and relax. I want people not to be stressed out by their homework. If they finish it first, then the rest of the day is free and they can fun.
