Description

CFC is a comprehensive agency that houses nine major service areas for people of all ages, races, religions and socioeconomic circumstances.

Catholic Family Center is Rochester's largest family service provider, helping nearly 50,000 people each year achieve independence with dignity.
Unlike most local human service agencies that perform a few services for one or two populations, CFC is a comprehensive agency that houses nine major service areas for people of all ages, races, religions and socioeconomic circumstances.

In all, CFC has 55 programs within its nine service departments, available to the community at 17 locations throughout Monroe and Wayne Counties.

CFC also recognizes that having a job which pays a living wage is important to all our clients. That is why we offer several important programs which transcend all service areas, including: Work First (a welfare-to-work employment program), the Employment Services Program and the Ways to Work Family Loan Program, which provides low-interest loans to the working poor for anything that can help maintain, or lead to, employment. Other program areas include:
Catholic Youth Organization; Children and Family Services; Elder Services; Employee Assistance/Counseling Services; Employment Services; Homeless and Housing Service; Office of Social Policy & Research; Refugee, Immigration and Employment Services; and Restart Substance Abuse Services
